Today, we are celebrating 15 years with Account Manager, Penny Couch. For 15 years, Penny has shown dedication and hard work that is inspiring to all of our team members.

What is your role at Angela Adams Consulting?

I’m an Account Manager.

What has been your favorite part about working for Angela Adams Consulting?

We are so blessed to get to work from home. I worked from home when it wasn’t “the normal”. People thought I was crazy or being scammed, but it’s been 15 years, and we’re still going strong. A lot has changed through the years, but the fundamentals have stayed the same. Angela built this company when Joseph, her son, was a small child, so she could stay at home more, and she wanted others to do the same. I started this job when my son was 15 and in high school. Now he’s 30, and I am getting to work from home and help raise my grandbabies. I am truly grateful that Angela gave me this opportunity. I have wonderful clients and great friends that I have met through AACS. I’m looking forward to another 15 years.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I’m a Cancer Survivor (Hodgkin’s Lymphoma). I’m now 5 years cancer-free!

You’re happiest when?

When all the people I care about are happy and healthy.

What others say about Penny

“Penny is one of the most dependable people/employees you will find ever find. Her customers love her, and the employees that work closely with her love her too! She is very loyal and dedicated to her customers, and you can depend on her to get the job done. I have been working with her for over 13 years, sometimes closer than others, and she has always been a joy. As her manager, I would love if she worked more hours to have more accounts, but I totally understand she loves being a grandma, and she excels at that job, too!! On top of all of that, she is funny and loves to laugh!”

Debbie Dietz, Accounting Leader

“Penny is a great coworker, but she is so much more. Penny has always been willing to help answer questions and has always been patient with me. She also showed me that sometimes you have the answer, you just need an ear to talk it out, and that’s ok. She opened her home to a girl from Alabama that she had never met and showed me how much fun a road trip to Charleston could be. Penny is a coworker, a friend, but also family. She has blessed my work and home life, and I will forever be grateful for all I have learned from her. It’s hard to believe I’ve known her for 14 years, and I can’t wait for 14 more! I know that anyone who works with her feels blessed, just like I do!”
