How-To Desk Enrollment

AMS Support is the right source for fixing system problems and error messages, but they are not designed to help agencies with exactly “how to” do something. That is why we created the How To Desk. This is an easy way for agencies to get quick answers to those nagging questions regarding how to use AMS360 or AfW. Angela Adams Consulting Services offers a 2 hour response time during working hours and we utilize 30 associates with expertise in all areas of insurance agency operations on both AfW and AMS360.

She started in agency accounting in 1985 and has been an Agency Owner, Chief Financial Officer, Commercial and Marketing manager, and has 9 years experience in insurance agency consulting. She has been a regular speaker at the AMS National Users' Group Conferences and teaches local AMS Users' Groups throughout the country.

Tammy Wickard

Tammy has been in the insurance business since 1990, spending most of that time in the Accounting field, and also in Systems & Operations Management. She received the AAI designation in 1999. She was instrumental in forming the Sunshine State AMS Users' Group and previously served as President. Tammy has been active in National Conference AfW/AMS 360 Education, where she served on the committee as Co-Chair as well as being a presenter at National Conference for the past several years. In 2005 Tammy was awarded the Presidential Citation from the AMS National Users' Group.

Renee has 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. She began her career in 1984 as a Personal Lines CSR. She has a strong background in Customer Service and has been a Personal Lines Manager as well as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. In 2005, after an agency merger and acquisition she accepted a position in Systems/ Operations Management and Training. New responsibilities included converting existing AfW and Applied agencies to the AMS360 management system and the implementation and training of the new management system. In addition she is an active member of the AMS Dixie Users' Group.

Cathy began her insurance career in 1993 helping to automate a small agency after their purchase of the AMS Prime system. She was also a licensed Personal Lines Agent. She began work for AMS now Vertafore in 1997 and for 12 years worked as a support representative, support supervisor and training consultant. In 2009 Cathy joined Angela Adams Consulting and now serves as Director of CSR Services but also works as an Account Manager for the Accounting Department and a Consultant for the Consulting Department. Cathy has presented for many years at Regional and National Users' Group Conferences. She works with the AMS 360, AMS Prime and Producer Plus products.

Michael Trouillon

Michael began his insurance career directly out of High School as a file clerk with a medium sized agency. Throughout his career, Michael has been an Assistant Account Manager, Account Manager, Account Executive (producer) and Agency Operations Manager. He has also been a compliance manager for a large commercial property program and handled licensing and surplus lines filings for multiple states. These experiences give Michael both the broad and specific view that helps him understand processes and how to match workflows to them. Michael is a board member of the SoCal Valley AMS User Group and previously served on the Advisory Board of the Insurance Skills Center (insurance education arm of IBA West).

Jeffrey Cook

Jeff has 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. Graduating from Colorado State University with a Finance/Accounting degree, he started his career as a commercial lines underwriter with St Paul Insurance company in Atlanta, GA. He then spent 8 years as a trainer and consultant with Insurnet, an insurance agency software vendor. In 1996, he joined an agency in Spartanburg, SC as the Operations Director, transitioning the agency from Insurnet to AFW to AMS360 during 15 years at the Agency. He has also served as President of the South Carolina AMS Users Group for 9 years. 

Carole Medeiros

Carole began her insurance carrier in 1970 as Personal Lines CSR/Bookkeeper in a small agency. In 1978 she held Controller/System Coordinator positions in agencies with ARCom 1, Redshaw, ARC/AMS Series 1, AMS Pathfinder, Applied WinTam and AfW systems. In the early 1980’s, she was a trainer for Redshaw and trained agencies throughout the US on the AfW system from 1997-2000. She held the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation from 1991-2005. During a recently completed 5 years of employment with AMS Services’ Bothell, WA home office, Carole wrote all of the Help documentation for AMS 360 accounting features through version 1.5. Promoted to a Business Analyst position in the Development department in 2005, Carole designed the Vendor Payables feature released in AMS 360 version 2.0. 

Debbie Dietz

Debbie started her insurance career in 1978 at Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Chattanooga, Tn. She processed claims until 1979 and then became a trainer for new employees. Debbie began agency work in 1984 where she held positions from assistant bookkeeper to operations manager and system administrator. In 1995, she assisted her agency in moving from AMS/ARC’s accounting batch system to Aetna’s Gemini System to AFW. Debbie has 13 years experience with AFW, specializing in accounting. 

Kerry Kuntz

Kerry has been in the accounting field for over 20 years. She has implemented the accounting systems of startup firms and set policies and procedures for HR functions and financial reporting. For five years, Kerry served as Controller for a mid sized insurance agency in South Florida where her job responsibilities also included the Marketing Coordinator and the daily functions of Human Resources. She is currently the Director of Accounting for Angela Adams Consulting Services, Inc.
